We specialize in authentic Spanish cuisine with a bit of flare. Our most famous dish is the Fresh Seafood Paella that is made to order in our kitchen. Other popular items on the menu include Osso Bucco, Pulpo a la Gallega, and Seared Corvina served with Jumbo Lump Crab and Truffle Oil. The restaurant is BYOB, set in a modern and intimate atmosphere.

Chef Manuel J.
The chef/owner, Manuel, was born and raised in Spain, and has lived and worked in the United States on and off for 25 years. Chef Manuel was the executive chef of San Marco restaurant in Spring House, PA for 12 years. He and his wife Cindy have previously owned two other restaurants internationally located in Spain and Puerto Rico. For them owning a true authentic Spanish restaurant in the U.S. has been a life long dream. Vida & Comida is truly a passion project for them both, and they are excited to share their cuisine with the Ambler area
Chef Abde Dahrouch
We are pleased and excited to announce our new executive chef, Chef Abde Dahrouch. Cindyand Manuel are both pleased to name Chef Dahrouch as executive chef of Vida & Comida and are looking forward to this exciting time working with him.
Chef Abde has assumed full control of the kitchen and menu. Chef Manuel has imparted his knowledge of the traditional Spanish cuisine on the menu to our new executive chef, but the rest of the culinary decisions reside with Chef Dahrouch. It is with a sigh of relief that this change is made to our kitchen, as Chef Manuel has been working non-stop, and for many months, single-handedly running the whole kitchen. We wish to express our sincerest gratitude to Chef Dahrouch for helping us bring Vida & Comida from 2017 to 2018 and to extend to him the warmest of welcomes.
Born in Morocco, but raised in France, Chef Abde Dahrouch is a world-class chef who achieved great success throughout his long culinary career. Trained in a small restaurant near Toulouse, France, Dahrouch only works with the finest ingredients, choosing to source locally. During his nine years at the helm of Pond in Radnor he wonmany accolades, including three bells by Craig LaBan and “Best of the Main Line” four years in a row. Before coming to Ambler, he was the chef at Taquet in the Wayne Hotel, was Chef and part-owner at La Terraza in Miami, FL, and executive chef at A La Maison in Ardmore. Using the freshest ingredients ensures his delicious Mediterranean inspired dishes are loved and enjoyed by all.
